Quantifiers - Some, Any, Much, Many Konu Anlatımı
Quantifiers (Miktar Belirteçleri) Nedir?
Quantifier'lar, isimlerin miktarını belirten kelimelerdir. Doğru kullanım için ismin sayılabilen (countable) mı yoksa sayılamayan (uncountable) mı olduğunu bilmek gerekir.
Sayılabilen ve Sayılamayan İsimler
- Countable: apple, book, car, student (çoğul olabilir: apples)
- Uncountable: water, milk, money, time, information (çoğul olmaz)
some / any
- some → olumlu cümleler: I have some money.
- any → olumsuz ve sorular: I don't have any money. / Is there any milk?
- İstek/teklif sorularında "some" da olur: Would you like some tea?
much / many / a lot of

Not: "much" ve "many" genelde olumsuz ve sorularda; "a lot of" olumlu cümlelerde tercih edilir.
a few / a little
- a few + sayılabilen: I have a few friends. (birkaç)
- a little + sayılamayan: There is a little sugar. (biraz)
